Unless ChrisChristie has been in a field a presidential candidate in secret for the past year, it's too late to start running for president. Ideally, a candidate must decide two years before the first primary to run an effective campaign, a year earlier, at least. Before he or she will never stand in front of a crowd with banners and streamers, smiling family members and a horde of national media, the president of applicants as they have been preparing for the race for months.
